Using Sodium Alginate-new class??

I'm taking a survey since there is a momentary lull in the fabric dyeing business-is anyone interested in me writing a new QU class on how to use Sodium Alginate as a thickener with Procion MX dyes? They can be used as paints; to do stencil work, and other fun things. Let me know if there is interest before I start testing and photographing and writing.

I've been playing with sodium alginate to paint, stencil, etc., but I would probably take the class anyway just for the fun of having a group to work with.

Wow! So many people on many different fronts have said yes to this class.

I started trying out the lesson ideas yesterday and had forgotten how fun this stuff is to mush around on the fabs. Brilliant colors and best of all- it stays in place.

Carol gave me the okay so expect to see this class somewhere around the first of the year. I'll let you know.

It takes me a long time to write classes as I test and retest and try out bizarre scenarios I think my students may pursue so that I can instruct them well.

Batik class took 200 hours to write. This will be less by about half, I think.
