I recommend that you take one of my other dyeing courses at QU before taking this class. The basics are good to have in place before launching into this 5 class series which is fairly intense. It is a great class. Work at your own speed but never miss the discussion forum. Not only is it always full of good tidbits, it's a whole lot of fun. This is a spontaneous and unsolicited opinion.

At the moment I am on a "vacation". No QU and not many orders coming in that need filling. I went into the section of the basement/studio called "Never Never Land" to get Christmas decorations out and in the process found a bunch of junk the kids have left from various apartments so started sorting that out and then got WAY side tracked and pulled out boxes of stuff that need tossing or giving away so the place is a mess! I have a cool picture I need to post of some bolts of fabric that need to go down to the studio today so maybe I should post the mundane and boring parts of studio life as well as the fun and interesting parts. To answer the question of "what are you up to?"- it's throwing away and sorting out.
This Friday I have a sea kyaking class in the San Fransico Bay with a friend. We are going to go early and come back late and spend some time in a nice motel with a hot tub.

I will surely be there at the Quilter's Palette Class and KEMTEX in the UK have saved the day by getting my Procion MX dyes to me in good time - I had forgotten to order them until after the Christmas Holidays, imagine if I could not have got them in time.
